YOUR FACE. YOUR STORY. YOUR CHOICE.
Privacy, considered.
Your portrait is an imagined role in the Sikh Empire, not a claim about your ancestry, religion, gender identity or past life. The archive sequence is dramatised storytelling; it does not search personal historical records. We do not build a face-recognition database.
Portrait terms
Before creating a portrait, confirm that you have permission to use the photograph and agree to AI processing, Sikh-inspired clothing, headwear, hair styling and storage of the generated artwork. The permission checkbox starts selected. Review the displayed processing terms and uncheck it if you do not agree; a portrait cannot be created while it is unchecked. Pressing Create my portrait records the displayed choice. Historical costume styling may change clothing and headwear; facial hair is preserved rather than automatically added, removed or lengthened. Individual results vary. The female Khalsa warrior costume fully covers the hair with period-inspired headwear; other women’s styles may use a braid or bun. An existing turban is preserved. Children and teenagers do not receive added adult facial hair. Subtle retouching blends the face into the scene while preserving recognizable identity. You choose the men’s or women’s costume collection; the role is not an identity classification.
Independent participants must be 16 or older and meet applicable local age requirements. Younger children use a parent-managed profile with their parent or legal guardian’s permission. One profile receives two successful portraits, with one additional portrait available after claiming the qualifying Founding Ambassador reward: a weighted first role from your chosen collection and another choice among the eight available characters, with age-appropriate options for children. Referrals earn digital recognition; they do not gate portrait choices. Generation failures do not consume a successful portrait allowance.
Photo processing and generated artwork
To make a transformation video from the exact same photo, this tab temporarily keeps a browser-only copy of your original, paired to your portrait. The saved copy expires after six hours and is cleared when you choose another photo or start a new journey; the copy is limited to this tab’s session and is also cleared when you delete your participant data. Video generation begins only when you press Generate and uses this photo and your completed portrait. No separate original-photo upload is required for the video.
The browser resizes your original photo and removes photo metadata. The server passes it to OpenAI for image editing without saving the original in the site database, object storage or application logs. Provider data controls and abuse-monitoring retention may apply; this is not a promise of zero provider retention.
The completed artwork is stored so your journey can continue. For portraits created under these terms, the generated artwork may also be copied to the organiser’s private Google Drive archive, with creation date, name if supplied, role and internal portrait identifier. The original upload is not archived. Access expires after 30 days under the existing policy. The archive follows the same deletion workflow; a pending external deletion can remain queued until the connection is available.
Personal invitations and the leaderboard
For new adult portraits, the “Share my portrait” checkbox starts selected. Creating a portrait with it selected creates a public personal invitation and lists your portrait on the leaderboard. Uncheck it before creating your portrait to keep it private. Existing privacy choices and parent-managed child protections are preserved. You can invite people using a referral link while keeping your portrait private. Your generated portrait, first name or nickname, role, earned badges and confirmed show rewards and public referral circle are visible to anyone, including social preview services. The creation action records your photo-processing confirmation and sharing choice. Email notifications and live-show display permission each have a separate optional checkbox. In My Portrait → Sharing & privacy, you can make your portrait private, or keep the invitation public while hiding your leaderboard entry or referral connections. Existing private portraits stay private until their owner chooses to create a public invitation. A connection appears only when both profiles allow their connections to be shown. Private visitors’ names, photos and clicks are not published. Parent-managed child portraits do not appear in the new public leaderboard or referral profiles.
Rankings count qualified, completed, active portraits from referred profiles, excluding samples and excluded profiles. This is a profile-based count, not verified proof of a unique human identity. Sharing and browsing do not award points. The original referral attribution is retained; visiting another invitation after completion does not reassign it. Counts can decrease when data expires, is deleted or is excluded. Campaign titles and badges are modern recognition inspired by history, not historical honours or a measure of anyone’s worth.
You can make your portrait private or withdraw live-show display permission below. These are separate choices: making a web invitation private does not withdraw permission you separately gave for a specific portrait in the live show. Cached previews, screenshots and copies shared outside this site cannot be recalled. Choosing to make another portrait replaces the portrait used for future invitations; earlier externally shared copies may remain.
Reservations, tickets and main-show selection
Around the portrait reveal, we ask whether you want to attend. Reserving is optional; “Not now” continues to the portrait. It stores your name, email, chosen city and number of family members or friends joining you. If you request a sponsorship call, we also save the mobile number you provide so the team can respond. A request is not a purchase or confirmed seat. You can also request places directly from Event Tickets without creating a portrait. Submitting permits a transactional receipt and contact about that request. When enabled, a per-person deposit for your whole party is collected through Stripe Checkout after you accept the displayed amount and deposit/refund terms. Stripe processes card details; this site stores the accepted terms, amount, currency, party size, payment references and payment/refund status, not card details. A deposit is separate from a full event ticket or final admission. A return from checkout alone never marks a payment as paid. Other ticket purchases may use the linked booking provider. The team verifies ticket status and order reference in Admin; it is not inferred from clicking a ticket link.
Referral rank identifies people in contention for the announced main-show portrait places. Selection also requires a verified ticket, separate permission to display a specific portrait, and team approval. VIP eligibility is based on the published invitation milestone. VIP access is confirmed separately by the team after ticket verification; eligibility alone is not an access pass. Confirmed VIP and show statuses, earned badge milestones, the number of redeemed cards and the titles of unlocked published cards appear on public profiles. Display permission may be withdrawn in your private journey. Regenerating a portrait does not automatically replace a previously submitted display image.
Email and WhatsApp
Reservation confirmations and email verification messages are queued for delivery through Resend when configured. Progress notifications about completed referrals and unlocked cards require an email address, your opt-in and email confirmation. These messages include a preference link to unsubscribe. Provider acceptance does not guarantee delivery to your inbox.
The optional WhatsApp button opens the community invitation. Joining happens in WhatsApp, under its own privacy settings. Other group members may see your phone number and profile information. We do not add you automatically or treat a click as a subscription.
Community ambassadors
Adults with a completed portrait can choose a referral commitment and deadline. We store their name, WhatsApp number, optional city, goal and reminder/public-recognition choices with their existing participant profile. Numbers are private and used by the organizing team only for program contact when permission is given. Reminders can be stopped from the ambassador page or by replying STOP. Opening WhatsApp does not send a message; the team records manual contact separately from delivery.
Public ambassador entries require a separate recognition choice and an already-public portrait and leaderboard profile. Commitment progress counts eligible direct referrals completed after joining and before the chosen deadline. Launch-pilot totals also apply the pilot dates. Existing badges and cards retain their existing lifetime eligibility rules. Founding Ambassador is a community recognition title for 20 eligible new referrals within the commitment period, not company ownership or confirmed event admission. Deleting a participant removes their ambassador and contact records. Akal stores aggregate launch checks without personal contact details.
Media and sponsorship inquiries
The footer’s media and sponsorship links open a direct WhatsApp conversation with the organizing team at +63 917 826 3043. A message is sent only when you choose to send it in WhatsApp, under its privacy practices. The separate website inquiry form, if used, stores your name, email, organization if supplied and message for private team review. We use these details to respond, not to publish a profile or subscribe you to marketing. Contact the team through the same form for a correction or deletion request.
Sessions and optional sign-in
A temporary browser checkpoint remembers your place in the trailer, attendance question and reveal on this device. It does not grant rewards or additional portraits. A private browser cookie gives guest access for up to 30 days without email. Embedded browsers may hold a different session from your normal browser. From My Portrait → My account & updates, you may sign in with ChatGPT and link the journey so it can be restored on another device. We receive an account identifier and email for authentication, not conversations or passwords. Restoring moves private access to that browser and does not extend retention or merge profiles.
When email sign-in is available, you may request a private link to confirm your email and save your portrait. Links expire after 20 minutes, can be used once and move private access to the browser where you open them. No marketing subscription is added. Email recovery requires a previously confirmed address; it does not bypass an existing ChatGPT account link or allow children to sign in independently. Restoring does not merge or delete another guest journey.
Existing parent-managed child profiles remain private. Deleting a parent’s record also deletes the child profiles it manages. Older group-artwork and school records remain available for administrative history. Current rankings and rewards belong to individuals.
Analytics, films and security
We record completed portraits, referral relationships, share actions, private visit counts, event requests and journey steps. Share clicks do not prove that a message was delivered. Cloudflare Turnstile and secret-hashed network rate limits help protect generation. Original photos are not analytics data.
YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player loads when a film is shown. The trailer requests audio at 80% and starts with captions off. Browsers may block audible autoplay; in that case, tap Play with sound. You can turn captions on using CC. You can mute the player. There is no background page audio. YouTube’s own privacy practices apply.
Optional site analytics
Analytics choices in the footer lets you allow or decline optional usage analytics. Collection is off unless you choose to allow it . We store pseudonymous visitor and session identifiers, a hashed participant identifier when your private session reliably establishes it, language, broad device category, selected character and city identifiers, campaign tags, job identifiers, measured timings and interaction outcomes. We do not send your photograph, generated portrait, name, email, form answers, image prompts, full page URLs or raw IP address. Country may come from the hosting country code. Child profiles, known internal tests and recognizable bots are excluded.
Optional activity is stored in this site’s database for up to 30 days. We use it to count visits and understand the portrait journey. No external analytics service receives these events. Session recording and automatic click or form capture are off. Turning analytics off stops future collection and removes stored events and identity context associated with that browser. Inactive context expires after 30 days.
Founding Ambassador program
Adults can choose a voluntary goal and preferred language. A WhatsApp number and communication permission are optional; numbers stay private to the owner and the participant. Public ambassador names, portraits and Heritage spotlights require a separate opt-in plus current public portrait and profile visibility. Your city is required for community planning. Expressing ambassador interest on the event form only saves that preference; you enroll separately. You can change goals, pause participation, turn off reminders or withdraw public recognition on your ambassador page.
First-party referral records measure a browser arrival, a server-recorded portrait start and a successfully saved portrait whose reveal finishes. A random first-party referral cookie connects that browser journey to one ambassador. We do not read WhatsApp messages or contact lists. A click-to-chat action is only an opened draft; a manual contact confirmation is the administrator’s statement, not a delivery or read receipt. Joining a WhatsApp Channel does not enroll you or identify you to this program.
New participants count once. Repeated portraits, known self-referrals, previously completed participants and test activity are excluded. Account identifiers or verified email addresses may be hashed to prevent duplicate credit where available. Cleared cookies, private browsing and device changes can lose attribution; anonymous identity across devices cannot always be established. An IP address alone is never treated as a duplicate person. Funnel measurements begin when this feature is deployed; earlier traffic is not reconstructed. Private dashboards also show aggregate second- and third-degree participation through measured ambassador links, without revealing descendant identities or contact details. Only direct verified referrals earn recognition.
Digital badges are community recognition, not ownership, equity, currency or admission. Ambassador benefits include creator meet-ups, private live events and a physical Maharaja Ranjit Singh commemorative coin at the displayed qualifying milestones. Claimed physical and event benefits are arranged by the team and their fulfilment status is recorded. VIP access needs ticket verification and team confirmation. Claims and the single bonus portrait are recorded once. Live totals can fall when referred profiles expire or are removed; claims remain on the active ambassador profile. Ambassador contacts, drafts, consent choices, funnel records and claims follow the participant deletion workflow. Unlinked referral observations expire after 30 days and are removed during cleanup. The growth agent’s daily reviews retain aggregate counts and recommendations, without private contact details.
Retention and your controls
Generated portraits and private sessions expire after 30 days. Access expiry and physical deletion are separate: expired files and records are removed when the administrator’s cleanup runs. External archive deletions are queued and retried. Deleting your participant data removes stored portraits, referral data, consent records, reservation requests and managed child profiles. The organiser retains necessary private administrative audit records and deposit transaction references for reconciliation. When a journey is deleted, its name, email and participant link are removed from the deposit ledger; the reservation reference, amount, accepted terms and payment/refund status remain. Deleting a journey does not cancel a Stripe payment or request a refund. Stripe also retains its own transaction records. Copies already shared outside the site remain outside these controls.
